Annual Christmas Draw

It’s that time of year again where we launch our annual fundraiser. We have developed fantastic facilities here at Na Dúnta and we need your help to maintain our club and continue to grow. We have fantastic prizes on offer this year wish special early bird draws for those who get their tickets purchased early. Check out the details below and get your ticket in the bag. Huge thanks to all of our generous sponsors in particular QTP and Mills CNC for sponsoring our top prizes.

Scor na nÓg

Na Dúnta qualify for Scór na nÓg Leinster Final.Huge congratulations to our Scór na nÓg competitors who represented Westmeath in Aithriseoireacht, Nuachleas, and Rince Seit in the Leinster Semi Final in Tullamore last Saturday. Alanna Corroon was first out on stage for Na Dúnta in the Aithriseoireacht category delivering a flawless recitation once again. Our Nuachleas act  consisting of Aidan Quinlan, Conor Quinlan Senan O'Neill, Orla O'Connell, Sophie Moore, Ronan Murtagh, Naomi Geoghegan,  Aidan Tuite and mentors Trudi Rowan, Grace O'Neill and Noel Lynam hit the stage after the break and had the place in stitches with their fantastic performance. Last out for Na Dúnta were the Rince Seit group represented by Aaron Connaire, Orla Rijksen, Leah Bardon, Billy Carroll, Bailey Shiels, Caleb Shiels, Conor Cleary & Ellen Connaire and mentors Alice & Brenda Deihy who as always, got the crowd going with their rousing performance. As a hush fell over the hall to hear the results at the end of the evening, the club were over the moon to hear that all three acts would join our Tráth na gCeisteanna team in the Leinster Final. Not only a great day for the Na Dúnta, but also for Scór Íarmhí as Westmeath qualified in every category on the night, a testament to the high standard of Scór across the county. Congratulations to Bunbrosna (Ceoil Uirlise) Mullingar Shamrocks (Ámhránaíocht Aonair), St Mary's Rochfortbridge (Rince Foirne) and Moate All Whites (Ghrúpa Bailéad) who also qualified on the night. The Leinster Final will take place at 1pm on 30th November in Summerhill. Go n-éirí an t-ádh libh go leir!
