After a wet start to Sunday morning, the sun arrived just in time to welcome our race participants to the Downs. This race has grown steadily over the past few years to become a firm favourite on the local race calendar. Over 250 runners & walkers came to take part in what proved to be a competitive event.

The Downs Dragons are back in action. Many thanks to all the volunteers for making it such a great success. The Dragons are completing a nursery programme in the hall for all children aged 3-6 every Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. This will be an introduction to football in a fun, family friendly environment. All new members welcome.
