LGFA Results
The U12 girls put in a smashing performance against Garrycastle on Tuesday evening last in the blistering heat at home. Great to see 28 girls togged out on the night all getting plenty of football. Thanks to Garrycastle for travelling.
Our U14’s travelled to Caulry on Thursday evening last. The girls gave a great account of themselves despite losing the game. Final score Caulry 2-10 The Downs 3-01. One game left to play in the league for these ladies before preparing for their championship.
Hard Luck
Hard luck to Westmeath GAA in their recent games against Armagh and more recently Galway, particularly to our own representatives Luke Loughlin, Johnathan Lynam and Trevor Martin.
