THE DOWNS GAA NOTES June 13th 2023
U13’s Marathon Fundraiser
Our U13 squad led by Eddie Quinlan completed a fantastic Marathon Challenge last Saturday to raise funds for the club. Every one of the U13 squad ran above and beyond their quota of laps smashing their target with a 3 hour 24-minute marathon, a feat to be proud of. Well done and thank you to all the volunteers/coaches that made it happen and of course all that donated generously. Na Dúnta Abú!!
Go Games
Our U7’s U9’s and U11’s travelled to Bunbrosna on Saturday morning last. Another terrific performance by all squads with opposition from Bunbrosna and Castletown/Finea/Coole/Whitehall. Thanks to all that travelled and for Bunbrosna for hosting.
